Isabella Aboderin of PARC and other partners discuss the Africa Charter

The Africa Charter Steering Group is soon to convene for its first meeting of the year as part of a 4-day workshop beginning on the 11th March.

Hosted by the Institute for Humanities in Africa (HUMA) at the University of Cape Town, the event will consolidate plans and structures to advance the implementation of the Africa Charter globally, establishing a Charter secretariat and wider programme of policy and practice-focused work.

PARC will join senior figures from UCT, UNISA, AAU, ARUA, CODESRIA, AAS and other Africa and global HE leaders for this important next step in the Charter’s development.
