Using the Charter

We warmly welcome institutions and individuals who have signed up to the Africa Charter to test-drive our ‘Playbook’.

This has been developed at Bristol following a review of some of our Africa-facing research projects and networks – read more about this work here.

We hope it will be an evolving document, developing further with input from other institutions. You can download the interactive PDF below, and use it as a workbook, making notes as you go, assessing how effectively your international collaborations redress power imbalances.
