Overview:

A fully funded (tuition fees and stipend), full-time 4-year PhD studentship examining long-term care systems and economies in sub-Saharan Africa. 

Based at the School for Policy Studies and Perivoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) and spending substantial periods of time at the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) in Nairobi, Kenya; the candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working on a William and Flora Hewlett Foundation funded programme of research and policy engagement on ‘Care Work and Economy Africa: toward transformative care systems and economies to harness Africa’s demographic transition’
