Dear new members of the PARC community – and to all who attended our launch,
I would like to thank you sincerely for having made the time to join us. The discussions were richer than we’d dared to imagine and have provided us with critical ideas, perspectives and challenges that will now inform PARC’s work going forward.
In the event we were, unfortunately, unable to address the many thoughtful ideas and questions you posted.
We are very sorry and undertake to collate, engage with, and respond to your input over the coming weeks and through different channels – including through blogs and discussion pieces posted on our website, and through further virtual forums to deepen debate on key emerging themes and issues.
With warm regards,
PARC Director, Isabella Aboderin.
Answers to all questions asked during our launch can be found here.
Please do complete our launch feedback form (Microsoft Forms), which we’ve designed to capture your interest in the various areas explored during the event, and in ways to continue the conversation going forward.
Our Internal Launch (July 2020)
‘The successful internal launch of PARC on 15 July saw reflections on our journey so far, its strategy and the relevance of its envisaged work from a number of University of Bristol friends and colleagues.
The launch also raised many thoughtful and thought-provoking questions on elements of PARC’s work and approach. We list them here together with initial responses. Some answers are relatively straightforward, while others require more exploration and consultation within and beyond the UoB community.’
